Community Engagement: Year in Review
Diode’s 2025 Community Commitment
For Diode, contributing to our communities is an essential part of our work, and we approach it with purpose and accountability. In 2025, we continued to support the places where we work and live through hands-on volunteerism, educational outreach and financial support, amounting to more than $55,000 and countless volunteer hours. Our team believes that investing in people, schools and local organizations creates lasting impact, and this year reflected that purpose in action.
Supporting Education and Workforce Development
Diode continued its strong partnership with local schools by sponsoring Kuna, Idaho’s Career Fair and sports teams, helping to provide resources that directly support students and teachers. We also deepened our investment in the next generation of agricultural leaders through the Idaho Future Farmers of America (FFA) chapter through the contribution of six Kuna FFA scholarships and supporting the State Leadership Conference.
Strengthening Communities through Events and Sponsorships
Diode supported a wide range of community events across multiple regions in 2025, including supporting non-profit organizations such as children fighting cancer and the Ronald McDonald House; industry organizations supporting regional economic growth such as 7x24 Data Center Exchange, the Association for Computer Operations Management (AFCOM) and the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce; and community-wide celebration events including Kuna Days and the Strathmore Stampede.
Hands-On Volunteer Impact
Our team rolled up their sleeves in multiple ways throughout the year, assembling 600 hygiene kits for Heart to Heart International; creating 150 Happy Kits for Children’s Mercy Hospital; and partnering with Growing Futures to promote their early childhood education mission. Perhaps what we’re most proud of is our annual golf tournament, which this year raised more than $30,000 for our charity golf tournament supporting Osteosarcoma research at the Siteman Cancer Institute. We also provided community leadership through board roles on a variety of nonprofit organizations, including WiMCO KC (Women in Mission Critical Operations and local 7x24 chapters.
The Benefits of Development
Not only are we as a company making an impact in our communities, but our projects are, too. For instance, Kansas City’s first hyperscale development, Golden Plains Technology Park, is providing workforce and training benefits in multiple ways. Thanks to incentives Diode helped to negotiate during the zoning phase, the project has helped to provide the largest teacher salary increases in the Smithville, Missouri, School District’s history. The project is also providing a significant portion of construction funding for a new Northland Career Center.
Our Commitment Moving Forward
Guided by our corporate philosophy of responsible growth, community partnership and STEM outreach, Diode remains committed to building strength through volunteering, sponsorships and project-based engagement. As we continue developing critical infrastructure across North America, we are equally dedicated to supporting the people and places that make this work possible.
