Diode Venture Joins the Million Tree Challenge

Diode Ventures has joined the One Tree Planted initiative, the Million Tree Challenge, to reforest National Forests in the United States. Diode Ventures will plant 10,000 trees in order to give back to the communities and environments we live in.

“Sustainability is a key focus in the work we do at Diode. That is why we are happy to support One Tree Planted and do our part now and for future generations,” says Brad Hardin, president of Diode Ventures.

The benefits of this program include:

  • Supporting animal habitat ecosystems
  • Restoring areas impacted by wildfires
  • Contributing to the long-term health of National Forests
  • Raising awareness about the importance of trees and reforestation

Planting trees is one of the best ways to combat the damaging effects of climate change. Trees help clean the air we breathe, filter the water we drink and provide habitat to over 80 percent of the world’s terrestrial biodiversity. Trees also provide tremendous social impacts by providing jobs to over 1.6 billion people, empowering women in underdeveloped nations, and repairing communities devastated by wildfires.
