Aaron Attebery is the Director of Origination for Distributed Generation projects at Diode Ventures. Aaron is a subject matter expert in microgrids, energy management, and data analytics from various assets to provide value rich applications as it applies to distributed generation technologies. He has a history in power generation where he’s worked directly for utilities at nuclear power generating facilities, was a diesel calibration engineer at John Deere, and has worked for a leading Engineering, Procurement, and Construction company, Black & Veatch. He has lead Business Development and Capture Teams and developed and set strategy for new market entrants. At Diode, Aaron works directly with large corporate/industrial/municipal clients on their projects and portfolios to structure long-term off take agreements using distributed assets such as rooftop solar/energy storage/CHP/fuel cell/EV/etc. He strives on delivering turnkey solutions for his customers globally. Aaron has two U.S. Patents, successfully created and exited a brand-new gaming product company, and has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering - Internal Combustion Engines (ICE) from the University of Missouri – Rolla. He is a husband/brother/son who has a deep empathy for humanity. He enjoys the advancement of technology, utilization of algorithms to optimize the mundane, and is fascinated by market disruption trends.
